Gerald
R. Tarutis focuses his practice in two major areas.
He represents individuals with mental and physical impairments
and
their family members with issues involving Medicaid/Medicare; disability
entitlements including all aspects of the Social Security
Disability claims process through administrative
hearings and federal court proceedings;
guardianships;
estate planning; and trust formation and administration. He also
represents individual health care providers in regard to
licensure,
hospital relations, transactional analysis, business formation
and health development issues. Mr. Tarutis is routinely appointed
by
various state and federal courts to act as Guardian ad Litem in
personal injury settlements, dissolution actions, and guardianship
matters.

Kathryn R. Barron, (Retired), formerly an attorney
for the Medical Quality Assurance Commission, has assisted numerous
health
care practitioners across the state in licensing and disciplinary
proceedings. In this capacity, she assists various licensed health
care providers in all stages of the investigative and disciplinary
processes. She also represents health professionals in clinical
privilege matters.
Holly
A. Kessler, joined the firm in 2010. She enjoys
working with clients to creatively meet their needs and achieve
their
goals. Holly’s practice includes representing healthcare
providers in a broad range of legal matters, including Department
of Health disciplinary matters, insurance provider contract
disputes, and compliance with insurance regulations. Holly
enjoys working with a variety of providers with a range including
cardiac surgeons, urologists, chiropractors, and massage therapists.
She also represents individuals with severe physical and mental
impairments.
